New Publication Launched for Community College Leaders
Madison, WI (November 2005) -- A new newsletter from Magna Publications of Madison, Wis., will cover topics of key importance to community college leaders and other higher education executives.
The Community College Leader is a monthly newsletter that will provide community college decision makers with successful ideas and techniques practiced by their colleagues nationwide. The publication will regularly cover topics in such areas as distance education, online vs. in-person instruction, staff training, facility planning, leadership, community relations, and embracing diversity.
According to David Burns, a vice president at Magna Publications and the newsletter's publisher, The Community College Leader will help meet a vital information need. "The community college sector is changing faster than any other area of higher education. This newsletter will assist community college decision makers by providing them with practical insights and proven solutions from their peers for handling some of the most pressing issues in their field," Burns says.
The Community College Leader will also assist community college decision makers with developing and pursuing their career development goals.
